Audible (Sounder) Bases
Sounder Bases for CO and fire detectors add audible output functions to KI-Series intelligent detectors. Audible bases can operate as inde pendent local alarms, or as part of a zone or system alarm with synchronized audible output. KI-ABLT is UL listed for sleeping areas and other applications requiring 520 Hz low frequency audible tones. KI-ABDT and KI-ABLT audible bases may be used with combination smoke/CO detectors when a GSA-T3T4 module is installed on the same data loop.
Sounder Bases - KI Series sounder bases are designed for use
where localized or group alarm signaling is required.
• KI-ABST bases provide sounder capability to KI Series heat
and smoke detectors. They are not intended for use with
combination carbon monoxide detectors in Fire-plus-CO
mode.
• KI-ABDT bases provide sounder capability to KI Series
smoke and heat detectors, as well as carbon monoxide
detectors when used with a GSA-T3T4 Temporal Pattern
Generator.
• KI-ABLT bases provide 520 Hz low frequency sounder
capability to KI Series smoke and heat detectors, as well as
carbon monoxide detectors when used with a GSA-T3T4
Temporal Pattern Generator. The KI-ABLT is suitable for ap
plications requiring low frequency audible tones.
